Respect the "Marine Layer."
"If you're fishing the California coast, don't let the sunny forecast fool you. The morning 'marine layer' is cold and damp. We always pack a good pair of dry pants (see our guide!) and a windbreaker. By noon, you'll be in a t-shirt, but if you aren't prepared for that 50-degree fog, you'll be headed home before the bite even starts."
